We are monitoring the windows servers using pdh.dll and we are receiving "PDH Error 0xc0000bc6:9->The data is not valid" some times in between

Hello,
We are monitoring the windows servers using pdh.dll and we are receiving "PDH Error 0xc0000bc6:9->The data is not valid" some times.

When we use 'PdhGetFormattedCounterValue' method which is part of pdh.dll,we get the above mentioned error sometimes.We are monitoring windows 2003 32 bit sp2 machine from windows server 2003 standard edition SP2 32 bit.

Need to understand what will cause this and how to fix the same.
